About RTC

WMO Water Science Regional Training Center (NIHWA-YZU), applied by Nanjing Research Institute of Hydrology and Water Conservancy, Ministry of Water Resources（NIHWA）and Yangzhou University（YZU), was officially approved at the 78th session of the WMO Executive Council in June 2024. As China's first talent-training hub in the field of water, the Center provides continuous cutting-edge training for WMO members in areas of hydrology and water resources monitoring, dam safety monitoring, flood warning and forecasting, smart water conservancy and so on. It is committed to telling the stories of China's water well, and safeguarding the security of rivers worldwide.
