Talent Development Center for Intelligent Hydrological Monitoring and Standards (Hydro-Talent Center)

Authorized by the Ministry of Water Resources of China in February 2024, the Hydro-Talent Center is hosted by NIHWA.

The Center focuses on intelligent hydrological monitoring technology, equipment development, application systems, and Digital Twin integration. It also conducts talent cultivation programs, specialized research, consultation and knowledge exchanges in intelligent hydrological monitoring and standardization.

As an innovation hub for China’s water sector, the Center drives the integration of AI, big data, and other emerging technologies into water resources management. It supports Digital Twin water infrastructure and trains the next generation of leaders in hydro-intelligence and standardization — contributing to the high-quality development of China’s water resources in the new era.
