Overview
The Portable Rain Gauge Calibrator consists of a main housing,control unit,water measurement unit,and LCDdisplay.The control unit simulates a specific rainfall intensity and injects water into the rainfall gauge.Water injec-tion stops when the theoretical collected rainfall reaches 10 mm.Thus,the measurement error of the tested rain-fall gauge can then be calculated based on the actual injected volume and the measured rainfall volume recordedby the device.
Application Conditions and Scope
Suitable for laboratory calibration as well as on-site verification of rain gauges in operation,enabling users to per-form timely maintenance and adjustment of the gauge.
